I know, I know...but when tha's got gout in your knee then walking up and down hills isn't good for you, I even had to sit down at half time at the footy to rest my legs

Great city and plenty of places to eat and drink and drink and drink and drink...
Never knew it was so hilly though, you could've warned me!
Glad you enjoyed it Wakey....it is a great city and it is very much a drinking culture city. Which is half the reason why I stay here.
Don't go to Edinburgh drinking if you don't like hills. Jeez that is proper hilly.

Or Brighton, the hiliiest place on earth. Was a student there for 3 years and I must have had legs like Chris Hoy after I graduated.

You haven't spent much time in Halifax, Holmfirth, Heckmondwike, Hebden Bridge, Haworth, Huddersfield or anywhere in the Dales north of Hellifield then ELT? Tsk, tsk. The edumacation of our yoof is sadly lacking when it comes to geography and proper hills. Get some proper walking booits on young fella. Born wi one leg longer than t'other up here to get round t'hills tha' knows. Sheep and cows have two short legs. (Maybe a short extra cover when Yorkshire play at Scarberia too, but that'd only be on a windy day).
