Josh, I'd be happy to see that XI, it would be ok against 14-15 teams in this league. Quite a good midfield, even without Matt Phillips. Here's hoping. Angel

I don't ever remember 'The King' playing in a number 8 shirt but, the other nearer Albion player would appear to be Graham Lovett. Not sure about the third Baggie would have guessed at Graham Williams.

As Talk Saft says above, I reckon the third Albion player is the one and only Stan Jones. As for Graham Lovett, Derby fan Mostyn (JA606) says he's now an established estate agent covering the Tamworth-Burton-Derby area.

Bit worrying how injury prone Matty Phillips seems to be. Taking over the mantle of Sicknote methinks although Sess seemed to be consistently injured playing wide on the right.

I'm not so sure figure in background is Stan Jones - doesn't seem big enough for Stan. Maybe Dougie Fraser who played left half that day or Fairfax left back ?

Interesting YouTube video of that game:

Nice to see the silky skills of Bobby Hope and Graham Lovett again. Can't spot young Aries in either of the pics which is strange unless he's the one in the tie and trilby just to the left of Laurie Cunningham's right arm in second pic?  Wink

We unexpectedly beat Chelsea 3-0 at the Shrine a year or so ago - could lightning strike twice ?

I seem to remember that when we had that 3-0 win they had already won the title and we caught them switching off (though I think we played well). I don't think Conte will let them take anything for granted tonight. But we can hope!
