FT and a comfortable 3-0 win in the 2nd leg tie in front of a sold out Celtic Park audience - quite a "turn out" for such an early season Euro match! All goals scored in the 1st half although a bizarre pk award was given for a perfectly good tackle. However, the Hoops were never in any trouble and all goals scored in the 1st half with the players effectively 'taking their feet off the gas" to comfortably "see out the end of the game" with minimal efforts - save energy for Rosenborg!

Although Rosenborg will be a tough test there can be no doubt that Celtic are the better team and should progress with a couple of goals to spare. Over the two legs I go for Celtic 4 Rosenborg 1
