The trial (which Pulis brought against Gills for wrongful dismissal) ended in a £75k out of court settlement for Pulis.

It now would not surprise me one tiny bit if he's had his grubby fingers in the till when it comes to transfer activity. I wonder what the outcome of the trial was.

I found it on twitter mate, not sure about outcome...makes you wonder why he left palace tho... I want him out our club now!!!
Maybe Jp, should of done a bit more homework on him before appointing him..

This article can't be about Albion, surely. Can anyone here imagine JP standing helplessly by and watch TP spend the £30m from the Berahino sale? Because I can't. Furthermore, where does this £30m figure come from? Dave Kitson's head? We all know the figure's between £15m and £25m.

On the other hand, TP has been widely quoted in the Press and has said in TV interviews that there is still a lot of work to do at Albion, including getting new players in. And it is very strange to pay £8m for James Chester and he's not a first pick. I wonder what JP thinks about that.

I find this report very disturbing and if the accusations against Pullis of using his own agents to recruit for his own gain are true I am surprised that the usually perceptive fellows on this site have not commented upon the accusations.

To me it explains some of the unbelievable and inexplicable actions of TP in relation to his transfer dealings, strange team selections and square pegs in round hole philisophy. It also explains his his dealings with the Berahino situation which suggest a underhandedness of machavalien proportions.

I never believed I would say this but feel sorry for JP who is in now an impossible situation. He can not sack this reprehensible creature for fear of losing our premier league status so we must suffer till the end of the season.
Once premiership survival is assured the asshole must be tarred and feathered and run out of town on a rail (as our colonial cousins would say)

The problem with accusations like this is that the crimes are probably committed very carefully with no paper trail (just gentlemen's agreements) and so proving them is difficult. I assume this is why the Secret Footballer article is very carefully written, as nobody wants to leave themselves open to a libel case.

This is an article about Big Sam from a couple of years ago, with similar accusations. I would recommend reading it as it gives a more detailed insight into what goes on.

I agree brokenman that people should be more angry about these things. It also shows that we need to look at corruption in our own domestic game before we get on our high horse about FIFA.

I'm not sure what to make of all this.

Obviously there was a lot of accusations/counter accusations going on which ended in a trial and even a payout in TP's favour.
So - probably being ultra naive here - isn't he in the clear? OK some mud sticks, and people can be found innocent because they can't actually be proved (100%) guilty - I realise that.
But JP is no mug - he'd've done his homework and been pretty satisfied that there wasn't too much to worry about......surely??

Is this just a witch hunt; anti-Pulis people who just want to emphasise ANYTHING negative that they can find? Huh Huh

People should be careful to believe every word of an article written by someone who's afraid to put their name to it. It's interesting, but don't take it as gospel.
