Bournemouth v Huddersfield

Wow....how the feck did we lose that game?
From 20 minutes on we totally bossed that game. Lack of clinical finishing cost us dear.
Thought Mooy and Billing were superb again. What a partnership they make with Hogg behind. Unusual decision to take off Billing though. He wasn't too pleased about it either....stormed off down the tunnel after being subbed.
Thought Hadjergonads had his best game in a Town shirt. Put in some superb crosses also.
LDP did actually play really well. Won a lot of headers. But unfortunately he aint a prolific striker. Should have buried the one superb chance he had.
Pritchard was different class also. Fantastic all night.

We don't need to tell the management or the board what we need. We can all see what we need. But who can come in and help us score goals?
A left field suggestion....Jordan Rhodes. Proven goalscorer who is about as agile as LDP.
How about Morelos at Rangers? Fast, agile, young, and a goalscorer. Bit of a nasty streak though.

Rhodes has done nowt since leaving Blackburn, but he always scored in a Town shirt. Don't think Deano would have him back.
Deano said that we won't be signing any journeymen premier league players in the summer, so might be worth splashing the cash on somebody from the Championship who's banging em in for fun. That Roofe lad looks alright. Whistle

Ive mentioned a few on the other site and then a couple to a few mates.

I like the look of alfred finnbogasson from Augsburg, scored seven in six so far this season but has been struggling with injuries. 29 yo, looks like a bigger version of rhodes but with better out of the box play. I'd say circa 7 million.

Sebastian haller at Frankfurt. Six foot something, bit of pace, scoring a fair few this season. Newcastle have been linked with him for about 10-12mil.

Emilliano sala, Argentine striker 28 I think, scored 11 goals in ligue un so far, only neymar and mbappe have more. Been linked with wham, palace and fulham today for 15mil.

Mr J Defoe, loan for the rest of the season would probably cost about £3-4million all in

Worth it if he keeps us up.

Talking of goalscorers who've saved us from relegation....
Where's Mr Beckford these days? Whistle

Don't get me started on Rhodes, Beckford gets injured picking up a mug of tea, it's still far too cold for him to play Sunday League let alone get out of bed and get paid to play.
(Edit - darned keyboard). I'd pay Forest £5 million to bring Joe Lolley back - oh hang on, he's a winger. We sold him because we don't play wingers and we bought a load of wingers to replace him. That's worked out so well we don't need him do we????

Might as well throw daft brass at some of these. What else could possibly go wrong? Doh

You suggesting (ahem) training sessions with Zoe from Fartown AmChaff? What the lads get up to on their day off is their business.

I was one of the many who stood and applauded the whole team and manager as they came across to thank the however many ( maybe 800) and they felt that appreciation I'm sure.
An out and out goal scorer is what we need desperately but apart from a shakey start we bossed another away game and had Begovic not been on form we should have earned at least a point..
