Whistle

Naughty naughty baggieman, let sleeping dogs lie, but in response, I was not 100% a fan of TP's style or history just I guess like Alouion, but I was 100% behind the Albion manager, whoever the manager, I guess just like Alouion, he was bought in to do a job with an aging squad, this he did, just for the most part it was boring, he was hampered by the takeover, when he had better players he went ultra defensive, I hated that, he caused our current situation. In support of Alouion, my opinion of TP, his tactics and philosophies has not changed, he divides clubs, he plays awful football but he fire fights ....... occasionally he will have a season playing attractive football as per Palace but generally he is an 11th to 17th place manager. Glad his stay was short, glad he has gone but would still support him if he was here now because he is (would be the Albion manager). Now onwards and upwards, AP's blue and white army.

Here here.

100% agree with this. Pulis' downfall was his own stubborness to change up his methods, almost becoming a parody of himself and becoming more and more defensive in a bid to prove the way he does things works.

Not overly enamoured on Pardew either but I think this Pulis debate in general needs to do one to be honest. He did the job he was brought in to do and was kept on for too long. Every fan with a brain knew it shouldn't have been a long term appointment and the bloke has now gone. Hurrah!

Anyone still banging on about Pulis needs to take inspiration from Frozen and "Let it go!"
