Thank You, Fred.
Let us not belittle the competition though, even if it is for the so-called 'diddy teams'. Congratulations to Peterhead for their efforts today, their players showed just how far ordinary working men can get in the game of football. They are guys who play to the best of their ability for the love of the game.

Another great day out with the weans.
Rangers played both well and well within themselves. Some stray passing throughout the 90 and a continuance to be ineffective at set plays. Our corners are dire and something needs to be done to improve them. Peterhead must be applauded for playing their part. This will be the biggest day of their career for some of their players and I hope they enjoyed it. I felt for their fans when - from their angle - they looked to have scored while hitting the side netting, but I jeered heartily as well. And the sun shone. Nice.

If I have a complaint about today it's about how our squad was used. If we were going to use King and O'Halloran it should have been from the start to rest a couple of those available for next week. If we were going with next week's starting XI instead that's fair enough, but as we were winning and comfortable the subs we used should have been players likely to feature at some stage next week (ie. Law, Clark or Zelalem) to give them some much needed match time, and not 2 players who won't be there.
