Huddersfield Town Vs Derby County

Derby have spent £20 million on players, apparently £3.5ish on Butterfield if PlayerMarkt is to be believed and likely have a budget that compares with anyone that is expecting to be in the top 3. We by comparison have spent foo kall and have a budget that compares with the bottom 3. That is why the bookies tipped us to go down and them to go up before anyone kicked a ball. So they are at least 2 places below where they should be and whilst it may only be a few points we are well above where we should be. Did we look like we should be 20 places below them today? Did we 'eckers like. We still need someone that knows what the onion bag looks like though. Miller hitting the bar when he's stood underneath it takes some beating.

Good game, shame about the result. Thought Jed Steer was outstanding today. Great signing.

Difference between the two sides showed up through the amount of chances they created and the lack of chances we had. And of course the power and accuracy in the shooting. Even though their first goal came from a weak, mis-hit shot that just landed at Martin's feet.

No complaints.

How much more of this garbage from Powell are we going to have to put up with? We were poor again today, just like Tuesday, the only surprise for me was that it was only 2-1 and not 3 or 4-1.

First half we were okish, second was dire, atrocious in possession, constantly gave the ball away and looked so short on ideas it's untrue.

Wells, what is with this guy? Nowhere near good enough for this league.

We competed and lost, and that's the problem...the club will be happy with that.

Let's face it, Jed Steer made some class saves yesterday and kept the score down to 1-2 when it could easily have been 1-4,1-5 or 1-6.

Nakhi Wells.....waste of time and space. £1.3million record signing...we'd be like city to get half that back if we sold him now. Had he not given the ball away very cheaply then we may well have just flucked a point yesterday

What I don't understand is, if Derby are so good, how come Leeds beat them? Huh

L666s always manage the odd fluke against good teams. Didn't they beat Bornmuff twice last season?

They  might need a hero Snoots but this Charlton board sacked him for not using players they brought in from whoever else they own abroad because he knew they weren't good enough. They have since sacked two more head coaches who also couldn't get them to perform. The fans might have Powell back in  a heart beat but I doubt he'd be rushing back to work for the same plonkers that made his job impossible in the first place and appear to be still doing that for whoever else they appoint.
