Like him or loathe big Sam, he has come in and spent little or no money and improved the team. Our organisation and fitness has improved. With a summer window we should expect further improvements. And all with minimal amounts of transfer money. He really has to stay.
As for another manager, they would come in and shuffle the pack and change our pattern of play. Wilder and the other ex baggies players have nothing more to offer then big Sam. Big Sam has 6 months head start so I would keep him until we are promoted.

Yes I also can't help but agree despite not being a huge fan of Big Sam. It might have been different if he had started getting points immediately and had not been photographed napping during a key match.

I am trying not to get overly positive just because we had a shock win v Chelsea. But if the result is product of development and the new norm rather than a fluke forced on him due to selection issues e.g. could not play Gallagher, then after beating Southampton and Leicester I could potentially become his greatest fan.

At the moment I feel it is a Hobson's Choice moment and if he stays at least we know he can build a team and we will be fighting for yet another promotion.

I'm all for him long term - give him the tools and he will get the job done. Let's have some permanency with managers for a change.
