RE: HTAFC Summer Transfer Window 2022 - WakeyTerrier - 09-08-2022 I'm told Michael Hector is on his way to Town, seen a few rumours on DATM as well RE: HTAFC Summer Transfer Window 2022 - Lord Snooty - 09-08-2022 Makes sense with Pearson out. RE: HTAFC Summer Transfer Window 2022 - Devongone - 09-08-2022 I feel like Benny Hill. Why you no rissen me Huddlesfird? You need forward up front, hold ball, score some nice goal, be threat opposition. Otherwise they know score one good chance win Hudlesfird, score two certain win. You better you defence, stir lose most time. Suggest Cole Stockton Morecambe cheap sorution. Apologies to all peoples in the Far East, especially those exploited by British colonialism. Apologies to all women chased around the landscape in bikinis by the aforesaid Benny. Apologies for the cultural imperialism of the English language. It's just very frustrating watching a club I like head down the road most travelled to relegation. Signing a defender, especially one known for more than occasional lapses, looks like an attempt at virtue signalling to disappointed fans. He's a nice player who needs a steadying influence alongside him. It's his mate the steadying influence you need when you are struggling. And when you can't score, getting someone with a record of doing just that seems a likely answer, as I'm sure every Huddersfield realises. RE: HTAFC Summer Transfer Window 2022 - jjamez - 09-08-2022 Wonder if its the Chelsea link that's drawing us to hector? Like Dev says, prone to a lapse in concentration and prone to an injury, if we were looking at fulhams released players then Alfie Mawson, a northern lad, should have been looked at and maybe Cyrus the virus, albeit nearly 10 years too late, but would offer the option of an attacking full back/ wing back down the right. We still need a left sided one, unless yuta is that man, if so we need a left sided CB as I feel Boyle would be out of his depth...if only we had a younger defender that had played a few times for us and had a good loan spell last season...wonder what naby sarr is up to, he hasn't signed for reading yet RE: HTAFC Summer Transfer Window 2022 - Amelia Chaffinch - 12-08-2022 https://www.htafc.com/news/2022/august/signing-kaine-kesler-hayden-joins-on-loan/ RE: HTAFC Summer Transfer Window 2022 - Lord Snooty - 30-08-2022 Rolando Aarons has gone on loan to Motherwell. I thought he was supposed to be injured. RE: HTAFC Summer Transfer Window 2022 - theo_luddite - 30-08-2022 Don't think he's been injured for a while, but don't think he's as highly thought of now we've seen what a waste of a wage he is. Not like that was obvious from his record since signing pro though was it? At least someone else is paying (some if not all of) his wages now. RE: HTAFC Summer Transfer Window 2022 - theo_luddite - 01-09-2022 The Tyreece Simpson signing has finally been announced ![]() That he has an injury and won't likely play before the World Cup sounds so familiar when it comes to Town and recent signings for some reason. RE: HTAFC Summer Transfer Window 2022 - Lord Snooty - 01-09-2022 Oh for goodness sake. RE: HTAFC Summer Transfer Window 2022 - theo_luddite - 01-09-2022 The Grauniad also adding more meat to the Lucas MBete rumour of a loan from the Blue Mancs. If he's anywhere near as good as Colwill I'll have him. If he isn't then why even look at him? |
