Apologies for the cultural imperialism of the English language. It's just very frustrating watching a club I like head down the road most travelled to relegation. Signing a defender, especially one known for more than occasional lapses, looks like an attempt at virtue signalling to disappointed fans. He's a nice player who needs a steadying influence alongside him. It's his mate the steadying influence you need when you are struggling. And when you can't score, getting someone with a record of doing just that seems a likely answer, as I'm sure every Huddersfield realises.

Wonder if its the Chelsea link that's drawing us to hector? Like Dev says, prone to a lapse in concentration and prone to an injury, if we were looking at fulhams released players then Alfie Mawson, a northern lad, should have been looked at and maybe Cyrus the virus, albeit nearly 10 years too late, but would offer the option of an attacking full back/ wing back down the right.
We still need a left sided one, unless yuta is that man, if so we need a left sided CB as I feel Boyle would be out of his depth...if only we had a younger defender that had played a few times for us and had a good loan spell last season...wonder what naby sarr is up to, he hasn't signed for reading yet

Don't think he's been injured for a while, but don't think he's as highly thought of now we've seen what a waste of a wage he is. Not like that was obvious from his record since signing pro though was it? At least someone else is paying (some if not all of) his wages now.
