RE: January transfers - MNTerrier - 03-02-2016

the twin cities are a great place to live but the winters can be challenging, although with the winter storm yesterday we were lucky we only 9 inches of snow, other parts of the state had it worse

ONLY 9" snow Laugh.

9mm brings London, and hence the whole of the UK if you believe the crap on the telly, to a standstill. (Actually, 9 flakes of snow will bring London to a standstill).

A foot of snow is the best free beer cooler in the world though on a still night when you can wrap up warm and bbq a couple of steaks while reading the sports pages in the paper. Meanwhile let her indoors do the veggies. Thumb up Used to do it regularly on a Saturday evening. Forget it when it's windy though. Freezes yer bits off in no time.

9 flakes of snow brings London to a standstill, yet faced with the Luftwaffe's blitz, London kept calm and carried on.
Good job Adolf didn't have a snow machine! Big Grin

dont go giving putin ideas snoots, the ruskis have enough snow over there to make london crumble faster than a certain mans restraint when he sees a pig...

RE: January transfers - MNTerrier - 04-02-2016

yep ONLY 9 inches , some places in southern MN got over a foot
my kids went to school , the wife and i went to work all the streets were plowed curb to curb by the time i got out of work, england could learn a thing or 2 from minnesota about dealing with snow

RE: January transfers - theo_luddite - 08-02-2016

James Husband's loan extended until April.

RE: January transfers - WakeyTerrier - 08-02-2016

M guessing any chance of loaning Chillwell is out of the window then.

Speaking of transfers, Neil Redfearn has been transferred to Job Club today

RE: January transfers - theo_luddite - 08-02-2016

Wagner pretty much ruled out Chilwell coming back in his post match comments to Oggy.

He was on the bench at Manc City at the weekend. When rumours or otherwise indicate that the likes of Arsenal are sniffing around then you have to give the lad a chance, which fair play Leicester have done.  If he doesn't play for England at some point in the not too distant future I'll show my bare arse on the Town Hall steps. That or whoever is managing England over the next few seasons will need to go to Specsavers.

Small print.
Note - I'm not specifying which Town Hall or when. It won't be a pretty site anyway.

Paul Clement has joined him at the Derby Job Club, with Derby Chairman Mel Morris saying 'promotion was not the primary target'.

What? Give us Butterfield back for nowt then you numbnuts.

RE: January transfers - WakeyTerrier - 09-02-2016

If promotion wasn't Derbys target then God help us when it is, what will the transfer budget be like when they have a real go
