Just got back.
Initial thoughts:
1-0 was a fair result
Plymouth were poor first half, a bit better in the 2nd half
Players ran there socks off
Thought the ref was Ok first half, terrible in the 2nd half, Plymouth players flopping around when touched
No problem with the stoppage time, there were lengthy delays & substitutions in both halves
WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE

I think flints performance today was the most pleasing we have stopped the gap in defence by spending nothing .. ithwieke should be back by the end of the month and we will then have competition once again !
Apart from Gregory being way below par I think the whole squad has really stepped up this season .

It’s great to also see Iorfa regain his form, at the right time as well!! Bannan didn’t do too much today but Byers and Vaulks are picking up the pace when Bannan is off it. Front two of Smith and Windass are nailed on for the first 11 at the moment, Gregory needs to find some luck like a goal off his arse and Wilkes needs to learn to shoot rather than take the extra touch every time.
