As a season ticket holder how much enjoyment have I seen in the last 2 years ?
What is it now 6 wins in 37 home games ?
Yes Pulis early Stoke teams were an abomination but in recent years they have out passed and out played us so this hoofball talk is just wrong.
Seem to remember his Palace team doing us 3-1 last season and again nothing like long ball football.
We are up shit creek without a paddle now so if you want championship football and all our players leaving like rats of a sinking ship then pretty football it is.
Good luck with that !

4 wins at home in the last 12 months.
Newcastle against 10 men, Villa against 10 men, Burnley and West Ham.
Poor results and aimless shit football.
Sorry to be blunt but wake up and smell the coffee. The last 10 years will be for nothing if we go down. Look at Blues, that's what happens when the premier league cash gets taken away.

Just a few of the comments on the Sjoke Oatcake board:

“Whatever it is we are doing it's working better than anything Pulis ever did, considering results are all that matters”

“There's nothing picky or choosey about pointing out we are better at football with this manager than the previous”

“Oh this would be the best Christmas present ever wrapped up with a big f*** off bow and dropped at the Astle gates”

“I'm not sure Pulis fits in with the modern Prem club any more. He's an egoist and old fashioned when today's clubs require a coach and not a manager. There's no arguing that he gave us a tremendous base to work on, but would anyone seriously give him free reign to the purse strings given his record at Stoke?”

“I would absolutely piss myself if TP turned up at WBA.
Would love to see those seriously deluded Samba boys along with their local radio journo's defend their style of play then. Saved by the anti-christ. I thought they'd rather go down than have to watch a Pulis side every week.  Go on TP. Boing your way to the baggies just for a laugh”

A new West Pulis Albion = an old Sjoke City

I agree there's been precious little entertainment in the last 2 years of dour, negative football which is precisely why I want a change to someone who has a more positive philosophy. That person Isn't Pulis. If you want to watch us survive in the Premier League while being bored to death then that's your choice. Personally I will have better things to do which after 40 years is a very sad thing to say. If he does get the job and plays attacking attractive football I will be delighted to be proved wrong but in my opinion survival at any cost isn't worth it.

I wouldn't have wanted the Pullis at Stoke,

But did anybody see Crystal Palace at the end of Last Season Confused

There counter attacking football at times was excellent,

When it didn't go to Plan like against Liverpool and they were 3 down he went for a plan B.

You know the plan B that everyone moans about including me that none of our last few managers have had Whistle

His plan B got a 3-3 draw from 3 down

Pullis Or Sherwood for me just to scare the modicoddled pussi of players who love nice head coaches.

And make them realise HE won't be afraid to wield the AXE Thumb up

This is a poll off westbrom.com

Who do you want as manager? over 300 Votes so far , results remarkable really ......

Tony Pulis
239 (78.9%)

Tim Sherwood
64 (21.1%)

Bill Howell who replaced CL at the Birmingham Mail,......#

Pulis close. It appears those 'demands' weren't half as daunting as they first appeared. Continental structure is the future #wba

Time will tell I guess, nobody with blue & white in their blood wants to see long ball garbage but with the average manager lasting about 18-24 months whoever comes in wont be there forever.
I just think Pulis is judged on the stuff he played to get Stoke into the prem when he had a shit team.
The footie under Megson wasn't great but players giving 100% seems a lost concept these days.

Zinman,
I know how you feel the last 2 years since Woy left have not been fun.
Keep the faith buddy, you make some good points and the club needs loyal fans like yourself. Managers & players change but us fans are stuck for life it's in the blood !

Pulis.
Nothing else has worked so we are finally selling our souls. Sad.

How long before the 'Pulis Out' protests at the Astle Gates?

....and don't get me started on the gobby, big-headed, arrogant twat of a cockney. What exactly has Sherwood done? Spent 6 months abusing £120m of players on MOTD.
Even I could have got the results he got at Spurs with the players he had available.

Sherwood or Pulis..................how the feck has it come to this?

Happy New Year.

If we are left with a choice of the 2, then it would be Pulis, just on the basis that we would all know exactly what we would be getting. It sticks in the throat to say that though, after all the shit we have given him over the years.

However, we should all know by now that JP is very rarely predictable. It may well be some one no one has even mentioned yet.
