RE: euro 2016 general chat - St Charles Owl - 12-07-2016 Don't think it has anything to do with where they grow up, its how they are now pampered by the academies from a young age rather than playing street football with their mates. Its how everything is done for them the minute they get in the academy, they do not learn to enjoy the football by just having a kick around or being in the school team. For me its about letting kids be kids and just being allowed to play rather than having them in a regimented system in an academy. RE: euro 2016 general chat - Imre varadi - 12-07-2016 The Germans and italians and even the spanish regiment ? its about and im sick of saying this the premier xxxx shitbag league ! its all good to watch but it is completly xxxx us up rather than learning fron the foriegn imports the foriegn imports have to fit in with the premier league and there teams or xxxx off ! which is quite right dont get me wrong ! but we have got nobody any good playing in a foriegn league ? hughes rush and lineker played abroad and that master waddle and his mate gazza and they all came back twice the better player except maybe rush who was what he was a six yard offside ref anfield diving cheating sniffing welsh xxxx ! we need to have players playing in the top leagues of europe or we will never win xxxx all !! RE: euro 2016 general chat - Imre varadi - 13-07-2016 Its looking like BigSAM ? hes got the job by all accounts or will he turn it down ? RE: euro 2016 general chat - Statesideowl - 13-07-2016 Big Sam. So it looks like the FA want their yes man back. The bar really is set at ' Just kept the club away from relegation' Like old Woy. There's always big talk regarding England. Generally followed by even bigger disappointment. I see the Elite Prem teams are continuing to purchase the best foreign players. Nobody wants Balotelli though. ![]() RE: euro 2016 general chat - St Charles Owl - 13-07-2016 I like the idea of Allardyce taking over the England team. I wouldn't say he is a yes man at all, he will want to do it his way but he will not be afraid of making tough decisions and will demand effort from the team. His playing style might leave a bit to be desired but he showed at West Ham he can do better with better players. RE: euro 2016 general chat - Statesideowl - 13-07-2016 He's a much better option than Bruce whose name had floated around. However, It seems that whoever takes the job will be playing under the FA's philosophies, which are stifling to say the least. RE: euro 2016 general chat - Thurnscoe_OWL - 13-07-2016 So then here's the results 1) portugal 2) france 3) greizman 4) Rui patricio 5) R16/ 2nd 6) 108 Kev and stateside win on question 2 Jacko wins on question 5 Charlie wins question 6 having predicted 112 goals Fuuuuck knows what you all win.
