There's a surprising number of people that turn up in A&E, according to the nurse sister of a friend of mine, who er accidentally "fall" onto (usually empty) beer bottles too. The beer bottles involved remain completely intact up to at least the point of extraction, fortunately for the poor wearers of said beer receptacles. Strangely none of the so impaled are ever wearing underwear at the time of their er "fall". Now who'd a thunk that wearing a pair of trolleys would improve your balance quite so much?
