RE: WBA vs Liverpool - Match Thread - TheFunkyJoker - 21-04-2018 So, for someone who was at work today and couldn't see or hear the match, could someone do some player ratings? I'm hearing rumours of Livermore and Phillips playing well and I can't bring myself to believe it ![]() RE: WBA vs Liverpool - Match Thread - Baggiebob(BBB) - 21-04-2018 We played with spirit today to get a point. However Swansea need only one draw from 3 matches to send us down even if we win all three matches. Suggest Chris Coleman if not Big Dave in Championship. Philiips did play well Joker. RE: WBA vs Liverpool - Match Thread - Beefy 1965 - 21-04-2018 Chris Colman who has just took Sunderland down to Division one ![]() RE: WBA vs Liverpool - Match Thread - Baggiebob(BBB) - 21-04-2018 (21-04-2018, 18:49)WBA-Josh Wrote: The pitch was dry for both teams. We made it work for us in our attacking and defensive play. Even with this dry pitch Liverpool still went 2-0 up so it wasn’t a big problem for them. It only became a problem and convenient excuse when we came back into the game. Big Dave made changes and Klopp made changes. Big Dave’s worked, Klopp’s didn’t. Besides that, that is what you call tactical home advantage to do what we want. Why play on a wet pitch for faster play and give them the advantage. ![]() RE: WBA vs Liverpool - Match Thread - Arcane Astral Aeons - 21-04-2018 Chris Coleman? unless i missed something he still employed by Sunderland no thanks anyway RE: WBA vs Liverpool - Match Thread - Dingle-Dingle - 22-04-2018 The pitch was dry??????? I can't believe DM has got even Livermore playing well! It just solidifies the fact that the majority of the blame goes to Pulis and Pardew (the players not wanting to play for them didn't help, though). Have to wonder where we'd be if we'd have sacked Pulis at the end of last season OR stuck with Megson/not hired Pardew? He's still playing like a crab, but you can sense he WANTS to do well for the team (of late). That must be the only (Albion) goal he's had a hand in since last January!
