Laurie Cunningham opens the scoring against Liverpool with Emlyn Hughes and Ray Clemence powerless to stop him, 23rd September 1978
An early start on Saturday feels slightly more palatable after last Sunday's triumph at Old Trafford, and as survival remains Mission Impossible, there's again no real pressure on Albion as we welcome Liverpool to the Hawthorns. Davius Maximus has got the team performing for the first time in over a year, and the big question - the question bigger than Dave himself - is whether he can keep it going for the next few matches. To do so would be to give the club a much-needed lift going into a crucial summer, and would be a decent argument for including him on the shortlist for the full-time job.
It won't be easy by any means, but having gone to Anfield twice this season and first frustrated, then triumphed over Klopp's lauded team, it would be the icing on the cake to see them off again.
