RE: WBA vs Swansea - Match Thread - HarryJAllstarWBA - 02-02-2016 4 centre backs and 3 defensive midfielders starting at home to one of the worst teams in the division. Surely the most defensive lineup in premier league history RE: WBA vs Swansea - Match Thread - Squirrel Regis - 02-02-2016 Looks like same old keep a clean sheet and hope for something off a set play. Swansea will pass us to death. 0-0 all over it. Hope I am wrong. C O Y B RE: WBA vs Swansea - Match Thread - HarryJAllstarWBA - 02-02-2016 Don't deserve to win today, that lineup is shocking RE: WBA vs Swansea - Match Thread - betterthanbaird - 02-02-2016 (02-02-2016, 21:11)HarryJAllstarWBA Wrote: 4 centre backs and 3 defensive midfielders starting at home to one of the worst teams in the division. Surely the most defensive lineup in premier league history I think we might have been more defensive at some point last season, failing that Mcleish's villa regularly started 6 defenders. Hopefully Sandro has some relatively unknown samba skills to cheer us up. RE: WBA vs Swansea - Match Thread - drewks - 02-02-2016 Jeeeeez - was hoping that the obvious 'surrender of possession' against Villa was just because of so many games in not many days, but it looks like we're set up to do exactly the same. Bristol City score 2, Posh score 2......we can't even defend that well, Mr Pulis ![]() ![]() RE: WBA vs Swansea - Match Thread - Beefy 1965 - 02-02-2016 Good Grief .............. Presume our best CB is playing LB again as well ![]() RE: WBA vs Swansea - Match Thread - betterthanbaird - 02-02-2016 (02-02-2016, 21:32)betterthanbaird Wrote:(02-02-2016, 21:11)HarryJAllstarWBA Wrote: 4 centre backs and 3 defensive midfielders starting at home to one of the worst teams in the division. Surely the most defensive lineup in premier league history I think I've found a winner, man utd 0-1 west brom, last May, note that we won. This was the team:Myhill Dawson McAuley Olsson Lescott Gardner Mulumbu Yacob Fletcher Brunt Berahino. Admittedly that was away to United not home to Swansea but at least today we have two wingers who can run so we might get some thrilling three man counter attacks. RE: WBA vs Swansea - Match Thread - betterthanbaird - 02-02-2016 We've created a few chances today. Hopefully we'll take one soon. Oh dear Evans off with hamstring RE: WBA vs Swansea - Match Thread - baggietrousers - 02-02-2016 I was fuming this morning when my ferry was cancelled due to storms in the Irish sea, but am I happy now, especially with my refund. In fact it's made me finally realise how much I'm spending each week to be well and truly unentertained, if that's a word. So I wont be spending any more of my hard earned dosh to watch complete and utter rubbish. Well done Pulis et al , you've finally broken me. Goodbye. |
