Lambert and Mcleish were the only 2 linked to the job! I don't see the reason to mention managers who are not involved in the process.

Fact is apart from a couple of managers most have failed at Villa no just Ex Celtic connections,merely pointing that out to the kid in Rangers fan I mean Larry AV

What about Lenny? He's got Old Firm experience, a poor record in cups, and the first thing he did when he went to cash-strapped Bolton was bring in 2 expensive salaried strikers - Gudjohnsen and Heskey - whose best years were 10 years ago. Sounds like a perfect fit for us these days.

So 3 of the 4 managers mentioned are ex celtic, point well made

MON was not a flop at Aston Villa, the Club was progressing well, until Lerner pulled the financial plug !!!
Despite the poor reigns since MON of McLeish and Lambert, the ultimate flop at AVFC is the owner.
I just hope that the Board at Rangers makes sure the new Manager, whoever it may be, gets the support he needs, not just to get us back to the top flight, but to us get back to the top of the top flight.
