Any suggestions?
Think we could tempt Robinson from MK Dons or Cotterill from Bristol City? Both young with good knowledge of leagues where we might just be looking for players.

Don't think either of those two would leave their current clubs after gaining promotion, I think they will want at least one season in the Championship. Advocaat is available again, could he be tempted??

Advocaat's retired. I'm not sure which I'd prefer: a manager with a record of winning trophies/leagues or a young manager with a modern outlook and potential to fit into a progressive club structure.

Of course he's talking about Rangers. Why else are you here?
El Car, I suspect McCall will make a strong case for himself at the meeting with Murray, whenever that is. His post match interview spelled out what he thinks Rangers need, and how he sees those things as his best qualities. I also don't see Murray or King having the awareness or skills to source a suitable candidate in the required timescale.

At the end of the day McCall was working with the same players that McCoist left, and definitely got improved perfomances out of them. Criticisms of the squad including lack of professionalism and lack of fitness seem to have been imroved under McCall and I would imagine he is saying to the board that given a full pre-season, get rid of some of the old players and have a decent budget to bring in some new faces, that he can turn the team into promotion material. Unless they have some one already lined up I think they will give McCall the chance.

Hope McCall gets the gig- another couple of years in the championship would do just fine to get a decent team together

What about the out of work combo of Mark Warburton and David Weir?? Done a great job with Brentford getting them forst promoted then into the playoff mix in the Championship. For me that would be a good combination for you guys!!
