We need to get a few more players in quickly.
Plus I guess the players need to get used to the style of play Mason is pushing on them as clearly they are a work in progress and it looks bad right now.

August is when things happen for us in the transfer windows. Probably the last 2 weeks of it in fact.
I few links with a striker (Ramos) and defenders (Bambino and Tasker) but how real are they and what other irons are in the fire.
Sad for me is that we will have played 4-6 games by the end of September and unless we look good in them it is not attractive to a player if he has other options.

It’s looking like we’ll be losing Heggem to Bologna, albeit for a healthy profit. Disappointing if that’s the case as I believe him to be our best defender. The seemingly continual need to sell just illustrates the financial situation our previous owner created

I like Heggem a lot but I feel this is an offer we can’t turn down. With what we paid for him, this is close to straight profit. I know the poor financial situation we’re in but I would hope some this fee would be reinvested in a player/players. As I think Slick mentioned, investment in an attacking midfielder is, I feel, a priority.
Losing Heggem would be a blow but we seem to be decently served with Phillips, Campbell and Taylor. I’d be more concerned at losing Isaac Price.
