I would like to see McInnes, but think he would benefit from an older mgr along side him.

To be fair, Phil, he has a strong Rangers connection as well....and he turned them down.

Don't think he wanted the politics thats going on a Rangers.
He is young and ambitious and under the right circumstances could be good for both parties.

I agree, I wouldn't want Megson back for a third time. Loved Mowbray's football but I'm always nervous of managers returning after previously successful spells - thinking Giles and Atkinson.

If we go down then the club has to scrub off the Premier League stink and look at building a fresh identity, an identity revolved around playing attractive football, looking to win matches and trying to do things the right way. Just like we had when Ashworth was at the club. There can be no more safety first approaches because that won't get us out of the Championship.

If we go down and Pardew leaves then James Tiberius Kirk will be my choice to rebuild us.  Vastly experienced, commanded the Enterprise in Klingon space, and knows how to build a team with a good balance to it.  Plus he likes bringing through young players.  He is the guy that gave Montgomery Scott, Pavel Chekov, Hikaru Sulu and Nyota Uhura their chance on the bridge.  Whether he wants to leave Rigel 7 and come to England is another thing.
