To be fair, Moses, I think the most realistic comparison is his time with Huddersfield where, over 102 matches, they conceded 6 more goals than they scored, if, like you, I’m reading this correctly. That difference could be the result of two or three heavy defeats. For me, the more telling statistic is the win %. Comparing it to our more recent managers, you have to go back to Di Matteo and Mowbray at 40-45% before anyone has a better performance record than his 37.25% at Huddersfield. I’m not remotely suggesting that Corberan is the answer to all of our problems as our issues go far deeper than the appointment of a new manager. However, in looking at who’s available, who’s affordable, who would realistically consider us, as well as the penny pinching attitude of our owner, and I’m struggling to think of someone better.
