That is really sad news Matt. Injury has taken him back almost full circle. Like Diego de Girolamo one bad injury has been enough to blight a promising career. Maybe he'll be sharp enough back at our level ...... but it is a big maybe. Diego is a good player for Buxton when he gets on the field ...... but that is a long way short of being tipped by top Italian managers to become his country's next big thing. Hope Kabongo can start finding the net again, but it's hope not expectation.

Did you know - I certainly didn't - that Walsall signed Levi Amantchi in the window from Bromley? The FEE was undisclosed.
He was sub at Colchester - 86th minute. Played in the draw at Salford City.
You would think our club website might keep track of past players ....
