There was never any chance of Quaner jumping to head that ball away now was there? ![]() RE: blue'n'white 'oops v t'blue'n'white stripes 10/08/2019 - sloppyattheback - 11-08-2019 Happy with the 1st half effort, the new keeper was excellent and made a couple of fine saves early to keep us in it as they raided down our right flank well and Flo the one chap who doesnt have a tackle in his locker. Terry K on the other hand kept their pacey man in check on the left. We had a couple of chances ourselves, shots so at HT 00 things were ok, but hoping for better. Bacuna not great again, O Brien a promising start but basically we couldnt hold posession for the 2nd week running and have next to nothing out wide to support Grant up front. Diakhaby sets off looking like Usain Bolt then loses it within seconds. Kachunga did well to get the pen, kept running for a change and took a tumble, well despatched by Grant. After that moment, apart from good defending by the centre backs & keeper we did nothing offensively, folk around me getting very frustrated and vocal in their views. Yes on reflection a point away is always a good result, but we've worryingly showed little or no pattern in both games now and how little we create is surely the most depressing fact. Why Martin from Wakefield keeps going to Colin, I dont know I was sure we'd signed pace and hunger in Brown or Koroma to be an impact. He clearly doesnt know his best starting 11 yet, but we look awful and the nerves are a jingling in the support so early it cant be healthy. RE: blue'n'white 'oops v t'blue'n'white stripes 10/08/2019 - WakeyTerrier - 12-08-2019 Have we sacked him yet? Another poor display against a very average QPR. Midfield 3 once again look lost. Bacuna lucky not to be sent off, lost any kind of plot after being fouled. I’m sorry but he’s running out of time, lightning doesn’t strike twice in the same place and JS was a disastrous appointment RE: blue'n'white 'oops v t'blue'n'white stripes 10/08/2019 - JUSTASILLYOLDGIT - 13-08-2019 When he took the reigns for the later stages of our prem experience, people rightly cut the guy a huge amount of slack, recognising it was an impossible situation. But now that we are where we are, and playing against teams who on paper are no better than us, it is clear, even at this early stage, he has brought absolutely nothing to the table. We will definitely struggle this season if we don't address this situation asap. Not one to call for sackings on a whim, but this is going to end in tears if we don't grasp the bull by the horns, and make a change !!! ![]() |
