And ironically it was never a penalty!!! Got to get soem luck at some point I suppose!!

Defender stands on attackers foot and trips him up in the penalty area. What isn't a penalty about that? Beaten by a side with, yet again, more clinical finishers and better, quicker thinking players on and off the ball.

RE: Huddersfield Town v Leicester City - jjamez - 07-04-2019

If you analyse the speed of thought or the actual thought of our players it just sums up why we are where we are.

Hamer- 3rd choice keeper at the side that just beat us, you wonder why

Smith- scared of going forward, we had a chance to counter at 2-1 yesterday, he had open space to run into, got just past the halfway line and played an infield pass behind everyone, he's not the same player from the promotion season, we have the Chris Powell version, he's been like it since he got rinsed away at Palace last season. He's one that always seems to blame everyone else

Schindler- looks shot of confidence, they all do, seems to have lost that spark though. Gets caught out of position by the better strikers. Heaven knows what kane will do to us

Kongolo- don't know if he's a left back or a centre back and I don't think he does too, but him and schindler are our best pairing

Durm- which foot does he actually want to use? For their 2nd goal he was pairing up with Lowe on Ricardo and never even considered making a challenge. At the start of the season or when he first started playing I was a bit more understanding as I thought he could still be hesitant due to his injuries but now I'm beginning to question if his injuries have done irreconcilable damage

Hogg and stankovic--shouldn't be playing in a 2 man midfield together. Hogg doesn't have the vision or confidence to play forward, he was getting caught the wrong side often too. He's too Conservative as a midfielder and arguably needs someone proactive next to him. Think stankovic looks to go forward more than hogg but both would rather recycle possession than be brave

Mooy- not a winger, never has been, never will be. He's our best midfielder so play him there. He's the only one who could create something

Pritchard-- I've said it a few times, but I fail to see what he brings to the side, tame shots, not really creative, no real pace, looks out of place in an abysmal Premier league side

Lowe- think he's only playing left wing as there is no one else. Tbh I don't mind him out there, just he isn't quick enough to beat a man, but he might be able to get the ball in better than the others. Only problem is, he is also our best left back.

Grant- feel sorry for him, he tries, he makes runs but we aren't brave enough to find them or use his pace

Mbenza- says it all when one good cross is being lauded, has pace but I don't see much else

Mounie- not sure if it's a confidence thing or what, but he is poor and for me looks lazy and disinterested, trots around as if he's zlatan except he has the ability akin to Alan Lee. Always seems to be on his heels whenever he's around the box

I could go into the rest of the squad but I won't, yet

RE: Huddersfield Town v Leicester City - Lord Snooty - 07-04-2019

Hamer has been getting a lot of stick. Yes he was badly at fault for the first one but if it wasn't for him they would've got double figures. Blush
Whatever the problem is with Lossl, get it sorted. Angry

Mooy. I love Aaron Mooy, but can we please stop all this nonsense about him being Premier League quality. We've seen the standards required this season and he's nowhere near. He's top end Championship at best. We will keep him because nobody will fork out what we think he's worth.

RE: Huddersfield Town v Leicester City - jjamez - 07-04-2019

I'm sat now so I'll go for the rest of these over paid prima Donnas

Lossl- I've never had a problem with him as a player, never met him, but I've heard contrasting stories as to why it is like it is, one side is that he wanted more money than what we were able to offer and no clause for dropping. The other story is that he wanted a few guarantees, one being a real long term contract amongst others. Anyhow something he wanted didn't match the clubs ideas and there was no compromise. Apparently he's got a leaving do before the season finishes...

Zanka- apparently came back with an inflated ego after the world Cup, it didn't sit with wagner, but he let it slide, siewert hasn't. On a playing side, we were sold a ball playing defender, but I grimace more when he has the ball than I did with Hudson. I also don't get why he dives in and sells himself in a challenge as much as he does/did

Billing- overhyped. Has talent yes, but I think there's a bit of rose tinted view on him from some. For a big lad he's naff in the air too. Bit of a puzzle really.

Hads- aaaaarrrrggggghhhh. Soft, weak and flatters to deceive on a lot of occasions.

Bacuna- has something about him. Bit of passion and desire. Has a bit of naivety about him too but he works his socks off

Williams--I'm in the group that rates him, when fit. Ran the show for reading the other season and would be a very good championship player for us, especially if mooy goes. A fully fit and firing Williams would be like a new signing.

Sabiri- seemed to be a battler and have a bit about him too, just seems to have vanished from towns setup

Diakhaby- has pace and I don't think we've seen enough of him. I think there might be something in there, but we've over paid for what we have

Sobhi- don't get the signing of him. It seems like we wanted others from Stoke and settled for him in the end.

Rajiv- we know what he's about, but for all the tricks and what not, his end product is severely lacking

Quaner- jovial guy, doing alright out at Ipswich, will he play a role for us next season, honestly I don't see why not. Not great but by no means as bad as he's made out by some

Lolo- he's still in London on that night out, think his brother replaced him

Coleman- don't get why people are clamouring for him over hamer. Hamer ain't great but Coleman isn't the saviour.

Don't know if I've forgotten anyone, but I'm not going to critique the young academy players yet

RE: Huddersfield Town v Leicester City - WakeyTerrier - 08-04-2019

Didn't go on Saturday so I've only got second hand accounts from others to go on and Match of the Day highlights.

Comments from those that went..

When asked on a scale of 1-10 and 10 being very poor....8
When asking another person about the game...piss poor effort.

Seen lots of people blaming Hamer again. The first goal does come through a lot of people but he just doesn't seem to make much of a effort. The Maddison Free Kick is shocking. He sets the wall up to protect one side of the goal and then doesn't move when the free kick goes in HIS side of the goal

Plenty already getting on Jan the Mans back which was always going to be the case, people still worship Wagner so the poor fella was always going to get it in the neck from supporters unless he got off to a decent start.

Where do we go from here, get rid of the billy big bollocks who have under performed. Give JS a summer to get some players he wants but it is important that he gets off to a good start otherwise the knives will be out for him by September

RE: Huddersfield Town v Leicester City - jjamez - 08-04-2019

Anyone heard much about this supposed takeover?
