Very emotional day today, fantastic crowd of 41,000 for an entertaining game which finished 7-4 to Fernandos all stars.
Match eventually kicked off at 2.30 to allow the crowd in.

For anyone reading this who may not know, former Rangers star Fernando Ricksen is a victim of Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

It was heartbreaking to see him carried shoulder high on a lap of honour, by Mols and Novo. He duly got a 10min standing ovation.
The players today completely did him justice, great game to watch.

A great showing from the fans for Fernando. It's tragic what he's going through, let's hope this benefit event helps as much as it can.

He looked huge yesterday obviously putting the hours in the gym. Rino was lets just say committed in midfield , and albertz still has that sweet left foot. Also nice to see a dutch contingent of fans over for the game.
