After an initial battering ram from the scousers, we have settled into the match. Defensively we are organised and pressing well and in possession we look like a threat.

I’m not happy with Hegazi though. He has tried to stick close to Salah but it has been detrimental to his first half performance.

It's been an improved performance compared to what we have been used to, but I think they will score again because our defending is poor. Hegazi has sold himself multiple times and we've been lucky to get away with it. Rodriguez for the goal was also a pointless dive in on Mane.

Shame we didn't play like this earlier in the season against poorer quality opposition though, as we've been decent at times.

Everyone appears to be putting a shift in at last. Hegazi has made some odd decisions and that punch on Ings has me wondering about his motives. Idiot!

we're 1-0 down in a game where a draw isn't good enough, WTF is with that substitution!!! Sorry big Dave but if that's your idea of giving it a go then you've just scuppered any hope of getting the job.

Come on you Baggies

Can’t think of a single reason why Big Dave isn’t given the gig next season. He has been a revelation given the opposition.

Brilliant, Albion. Does powers for your pride. I wonder waht Pulis and Partridge thought.

If only Big Dave had been appointed earlier....

Great comeback and we deserved the point.

Thanks Amelia, for all your support and encouragement thorough a troubled season but that is curtains now ... four wins gave us a very very slim chance, but even that chance has now joined weight watchers .....

The team showed a lot of heart in this game and we would have took this result at the start of the season. It was another great result for Big Dave, though I do question the swap of Evans for McClean. McClean was providing cover for Gibbs and as soon as Evans came on the gap which McClean was covering gave the avenue for their immediate second, then to swap Burke and Gibbs made little sense to me. I would have though it would have made more sense to first swap Evans and Gibbs, as Evans does not need the same level of covers as Gibbs. Then swap Burke and McClean when things settle, a like for like swap.

Still an enjoyable game to watch or have I become easily pleased?
