There was something quite Mozza-esque about Mowatt's goal, too. Got a real flash of nostalgia seeing it. Tremendous backspin on the ball, seemed almost to float into the top corner rather than fly there.

Just saw highlights on YouTube - yup, that was some goal! Superb control, and the composure he showed; had to wait for what seemed ages, then strike it so well, awesome.
From the highlights it seemed like we were so sharp and purposeful going forward but the ball just wouldn't go in!
Great impetus going into the season - all credit to Val who seems to have got all the players fired up and playing 'his way' already!
Hopefully we will seem like a good option for this incoming goalscorer and/or midfielder
