Gavin Gunning just released by Oldham - might be worth an approach by Alan Stubbs as I'm sure he can cut it in Scottish Championship football + he was always a bit of a bad loser - I like bad losers and I'd like to see more players of that ilk who are good enough to wear a Hibs jersey.

Billy mckay of wigan being mentioned as well now,although dundee utd are also in for him.
I'm pretty certain now that we need to get another forward and possibly a defender in place by deadline day. Otherwise we will be struggling for goals through september and i seriously doubt farid or keatings will be up to speed before that stage.

If you get someone alongside big Zal and keep him right he's a decent plkayer it's when he thinks he's a player it all goes wrong for him.

This guy is a definite no no supercooper. On paper, he looks like a good signing, but he has a history of making sneaky little gestures and insinuations to Hibs fans down the years! You wouldn't be aware of it, but he carried on with this shit even in last season's Gers games at Easter Road. I'm sure there is a bit of give and take between player and fans but he's definitely a consistent offender with an anti Hibs agenda and I've observed him at it towards the FF Standites in that last play off game at ER Stadium. I wouldn't go near him as a matter of principle and I'm sure many Hibs fans would back me on that score!

It's a case of Championship involvement v Premiership involvement hibeejim21 - I can't see Hibs signing McKay TBH although I've been recently told by a Hibs official that we are definitely in for a decent CF, although no name mentioned! Also told Farid was apparently doing very well until suddenly he done his knee in - that put his recovery right back and must be very frustrating for the player as well the expectant Hibs fans who were waiting to see his involvement at the start of the season!! Injuries have not been kind to our club and I'm finally starting to wonder if we have some kinda hex hovering around ER Stadium - the number of injuries are very unusual IMO!!

Lol, I'm sure that applies to most rival fans Fredster - I did say in my thread that I'm sure there's a bit of give and take!! However most players act professionally and don't react. Zalukas is not one of these players and he definitely has form that goes back a long time! I'd be very surprised if Hibs signed him as I'm sure officials at the club are well aware of his behaviour because it's been highlighted before by Hibs fans who reported him to security officials and Police in the past. For example, somebody sneakily placing two fingers on their face and trying to incite a negative crowd reaction should be charged with exactly that, particularly when they're facing family sections of a football stadium. Don't try to condone it - it's unacceptable and indicates a distinct lack of character and maturity, esp for a player of his age!

I wouldn't mind Hibs signing even a retired Maldini Hibeejim!
He'd probably still put most premiership defenders to shame much like Franck Sauzee did all these years ago in a very good Hibs team.
