That point could be worth it but we will never know!! We should take some confidence from that result tonight, Burnley have been on fire recently and came in worthy favorites for them and from the look of the stats we matched them. Need to back it up with a good result on Saturday now. RE: Match Thread SWFC v Burnley - Imre varadi - 03-02-2016 bolloxes !! RE: Match Thread SWFC v Burnley - Maddix - 03-02-2016 Dress it up how you like Charlie but the performance on Satdi was unforgivable ![]() ![]() Yes this could be an important point but it would be less important if we'd not had the same attitude against Charlton and MK Dons as we did against Shrewsbury and there lies the problem ![]() ![]() RE: Match Thread SWFC v Burnley - Imre varadi - 03-02-2016 Lees played well for the under 21s and didnt get injured Micheal owen said ![]() RE: Match Thread SWFC v Burnley - Maddix - 03-02-2016 I've just broke my finger nail scrolling down ![]() ![]() RE: Match Thread SWFC v Burnley - St Charles Owl - 03-02-2016 The performance on Saturday wasn't good enough by a long way, its definitely forgivable though!!! Unforgivable suggests that your support of the club and team has gone forever, this is Wednesday we are talking about we have had many poor performances over the last 15 years but none of them were ever unforgivable!! The difference now though is we are on the up as a club and we have a genuine chance of getting into the playoffs and who knows even get promoted to the Prem. Saturday wasn't good enough, we now know for certain that we need to keep our best 14-15 players fit so that we can keep pushing forward and hopefully come the end of the season we will not in the whole scheme of things care about tonight's or Saturday's results! In the meantime lets hope CC has learnt his lesson, expensive though it may be, and gets us into the promised land!! RE: Match Thread SWFC v Burnley - Imre varadi - 03-02-2016 But it will when we get battered on saturday !!! RE: Match Thread SWFC v Burnley - Washington - 03-02-2016 Due to WW collasping (again) and then having a work meeting missed the last part of the first half and the whole of the second. A draw was reasonable after the awful start and we seemed to have matched them pretty well. As posted earlier 7 points from 9 would be good so we need to start over by battering B Ham on Saturday and increasing the GD. I predicted the subs correctly so I will claim my imaginary Smart Arse. Ipswich are fecking annoying with these late golas at home but their GD like Brighton's is not great and there's lots of games yet. We just need to peak in April /May when the sun comes back out and our Continentals feel 'at home' and we sneak second or thrive in the play offs. Could be an expensive year for international travel for me since I also have a neice's wedding to come back for in October. Have faith in CC everyone !!! This might partly explain the WW issues http://business-reporter.co.uk/2016/02/02/bt-apologises-for-broadband-glitch-but-says-there-is-no-evidence-of-a-malicious-attack/ RE: Match Thread SWFC v Burnley - St Charles Owl - 03-02-2016 (03-02-2016, 01:06)Imre varadi Wrote: But it will when we get battered on saturday !!! I see absolutely no reason why we will get battered on Saturday!! We will play our strongest 11, maybe even see Lees back to make the defence better than recently and so far this season we haven't been hammered by anyone!! Our away form though is a concern, we need to pick up more wins than we have been doing, so lets hope CC gets the players fired up for this one and we can put some distance between them and us in our favor!! |
