Joao is the better goalscorer but Nuhiu fits better in the system we play, Joao is better suited coming off the bench at the moment as he proved today.

Also the majority of Joao's goals came when he has been used as a sub.

I have no doubt that Joao will be the better footballer and will score more goals, but currently Nuhiu being in the side is giving FF and Hooper the space to make us much more effective, and the team is more important than the individual!!!

BML update - Wereham won the attendance prediction and Consilio got the score and scorer correct. Table is updated.

Id like to mention the fact that how much better lee is without a styfeling management of SG who always wanted more goals from midfield but forgot that they were not his forwards and played the game with one up front Nuhui who was terrible at this !! lee is now reeping the benfits of all the space the front three give him to run onto the half chances and bury them in the net !!

Good riddance SG derby awaits you hopefully lol !

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oayB2yIF8dc carlos ill try and do this every thread if its possible !! maybe Peiowl might learn something ?

Back from my walk now fellas. Had time to think over all the good stuff you've all been saying. Nuhiu links well, gives space, fits better in the system.

And after much reflection and introspection, I've decided.

I'M BLOODY RIGHT. IT'S ALL ABOUT SCORING EFFING GOALS!!!!!!

START JOAO!!!!!!!

A bloody good win today, strolled it in the second half, certainly eased up.Brentford were beaten by then so it made sense to save it for next week.

Lee has been superb this season. Think back to the start of the season and some were questioning him being given a contract and it was hard to see how he would fit into the side. But he has buckled down and along with Bannan, Wallace and Hutch I think he is part of the best midfield in the division.

Love Carlos and his interviews, the way the team plays is a mirror of his personality, he is like a breath of fresh air but he knows what he wants and how the team should play, unlike some of our previous managers!!

Ahh, but that is where your argument struggles, we are the top scorers in the  division so any one player not scoring is ok as the others are picking up the slack!!

And before I forget, Happy Birthday Stateside!!!!!

For us ex-pats here are the goals from today:

So how come, with Nuhiu leading the front line instead of Joao, we are now the top points scorers in the last 10 games  Huh and we are now the divisions top scorers  Huh  explain that you daft old twat and then tell me that Atdhe brings nothing to the team  Doh

Buy a pair of boots and try playing the game  Whistle

Ruthless is the best way to describe today. Brentford started better but were caught out on our first attack. I'd like to see the sending off again, Hooper got the drop on their defender but was caught up just outside the area and went down under what appeared slight contact. If the ref thought it was a foul then he had to send the defender off, and he duly did. We scored not long after but Brentford were still causing lots of nervy moments for us. However, Hooper got away again and struck a lethal shot from the edge of the area for the clinching goal. After that it was a stroll. Lee rounded off a great spell of possession with smartly taken goal to round off one of the best first halves of the season. After an early bright burst from Wednesday in the second half we just dropped into first gear and kept the ball well with occasional forays into their half. Joao came on late and took his goal well from the edge of the area in front of the Kop and was mobbed by the players, including Semedo off the bench! Hopefully this will boost his confidence, he's definitely looked a bit down recently.

With some of the other results it's turned out to be a great day. Hope Washington enjoyed it and MS on his VIP day out.
