German striker Simon Terode apparently is in advanced talks with Huddersfield Town.

hes 28, 6 ft 4 and plays in Bundesliga 2 for vfl Bochum
had a good season , 28 goals and 6 assists in 37 appearances ,
25 in 33 and 6 assists in the league the other were in the cup averaged a goal every 106 minutes in the league
if he does sign and come even close to that form he'll be very popular round huddersfield way
had some up and down form the past 5 or 6 years, hit double figures a few time, the past 2 seasons his best by far though

Rumour has it that the fixtures have been leaked for next season.
I'm not sure myself but if they are to be believed we will see the following(selected fixtures)
Opening game of the season- Town v Villa
Second game of the season- Sheff Wed v Town
10 Sept- Town v Newcastle
3rd Dec- Leeds v Town
Boxing Day- Barnsley v Town
28th Jan- Newcastle v Town

Don't think the police like the idea of derby matches on Boxing Day nowadays. We'll be playing Burton or Preston.

In fact scrap that, apparently we play Wigan at home twice and Wolves away twice..elsewhere Leeds have home fixtures on the same day as as us....wouldn't mind Villa at home 1st day of the season though

The way this side is shaping up, anyone with a pitch-side seat is going to get neck ache watching the team from the land of the giants. Glad mine is at least half-way up the stand.
