Season over as predicted, and Johnson needs shown the door. He's had plenty of time now but the team still looks like it has no plan, it looks like everyone is playing their own game at times. He made no attempt to change it today and his team selections, tactics, formations are all over the shop. Even after the motherwell win, neither Mcgeady or Nisbet would say anything positive about him.
We had some good spells today and hit the woodwork twice but we are very soft defensively and have very little in the way of leaders out there. Nisbet didn't work that hertz backline enough and we lacked that killer instinct all day. Our friends from across the city are much more effective at both ends of the pitch and their bench showed the difference in quality.
Part of me thinks we should just punt Nisbet and Porteous and start the rebuild now. There is still a week of the window left... But that would require getting someone in who knows how to run the clubs footballing operation tomorrow and can hit the ground running. Slim chance.

This is a quick report on the curling exploits of Great Britain (in reality, Scotland). The current World Junior Champions won the Gold Medal, defeating United States by 5-1 in the Final. The GB Team consisted of James Craik, Mark Watt, Angus Bryce, and Blair Haswell, supported by Jack Carrick.
![[Image: University-Games326822802-13413236497420...2729-n.jpg]](https://i.postimg.cc/wvLPHx6p/University-Games326822802-1341323649742094-523020426971752729-n.jpg)
The GB Women - Fay Henderson, Robyn Munro, Holly Wilkie-Milne, Laura Watt with Lisa Davie - finished in a creditable 4th position after losing 3-7 against United States in the Bronze Medal game.
As well as the curlers, Team GB's Scott Johns also won Gold in the Men's Ski-cross, with Thea Fenwick winning Bronze in the Women's Freeski Slopestyle.
The whole competition, the second biggest winter sports event after the Winter Olympics, was held in Lake Placid, thankfully crocodile-free.

Portsmouth have appointed Oxford United player-coach John Mousinho as their new head coach on a "long-term contract".
It is the 36-year-old's first managerial role since gaining his pro licence last year.
The appointment comes after Portsmouth sacked former head coach Danny Cowley on 2 January following a run of nine League One games without a win.
Ex-Burton, Stevenage, Wycombe and Brentford defender Mousinho made eight appearances for Oxford this season.
"The club and I are share similar ambitions and we're focused on delivering the short and long-term success that the supporters here deserve," Mousinho, who will be standing down from his role as chairman of the Professional Footballers' Association players' board following his appointment, told the club website.
"After meeting with Andrew Cullen (chief executive) and Richard Hughes (sporting director), I really bought into the process and am pleased that the club have also bought into me, giving me this fantastic opportunity.
"I want our team to play on the front foot, with aggressive and attacking football that will win games and entertain the fans."
'John possesses real leadership and motivational skills'
Portsmouth have appointed Oxford United player coach John Mousinho as their new head coach.
John Mousinho (right) earned his pro-licence to coach last year and has made a number of appearances for Oxford United this season
Lead professional development phase coach Zesh Rehman and goalkeeping coach Joe Prodomo will support Mousinho for Pompey's game with Exeter City at Fratton Park on Saturday, with caretaker manager Simon Bassey leaving the club.
Portsmouth say they will appoint an experienced coach to work alongside Mousinho as he aims to lead the club up from their current position of 15th in League One.
"John possesses real leadership and motivational skills - evidenced by his position as captain at a number of clubs and election as PFA chairman," said Cullen.
"A Uefa Pro Licence holder, he has a clear vision and an identity he wants to bring to Pompey and is comfortable working with Rich Hughes within the new football structure that has been put in place to deliver our short, medium and long-term goals.
"I am a firm believer that to achieve success, you must possess an open-minded approach. By simply doing the same things again and again, we only reduce the prospect of propelling the club forward.
"That is why our head coach search embodied speaking to a wide and diverse range of candidates and why we also now have a sporting director to deliver progress across all our football operations."
Mousinho's last appearance as a player came as a late substitute for Oxford United in their 2-1 FA Cup first-round win over Woking in November.
He has played 550 games in an 18-year career that began at Brentford and seen him play for six other English Football League sides, ending with a five-and-a-half-year spell at Oxford.
"He has made no secret of his wish to step up and become a manager," Oxford boss Karl Robinson told his club's website.
"We have helped him along his career path like we do with all of our staff, and and he is joining a great club where I am sure he will do well.
"We look forward to seeing him again later in the season when we play Portsmouth and I know he will get a tremendous welcome back from the fans."
Analysis
BBC Radio Solent's Portsmouth commentator Andrew Moon
Supporters have had 24 hours to digest the shock news that John Mousinho was to be the new Portsmouth head coach.
Although he probably hasn't seen any of the reaction on Twitter as he swiftly deleted his account on Thursday morning.
It's clear that he's an intelligent and articulate individual with all his coaching badges, but anyone making the step up from coach to being the main man will tell you nothing can quite prepare you for stepping into the dugout for the first time.
He'll take over a side on a worrying three-and-a-half-month slide, with a fanbase getting increasingly frustrated with being stuck in League One.
Supporters will be hoping he can have an immediate impact, despite getting just one training session with the squad before his first match.
There's still time left in the transfer window, although it would appear sporting director Richard Hughes will have final say over transfers.

Cardiff City tried to take out £20m insurance on Emiliano Sala the day after he was killed in a plane crash, say papers filed to the High Court.
Sala's plane crashed into the English Channel on 21 January 2019, killing the striker and pilot David Ibbotson.
A company of insurance brokers said the club failed to get cover before Sala's plane went down in January 2019.
Cardiff City bosses are seeking damages of more than £10m from insurance brokers following the death.

Argentine player Sala, 28, was on a private flight from Nantes as he travelled to take up his new role with the club then in the Premier League.
But the club have been unable to claim back the money paid for Sala after insurers refused to pay out.
Cardiff City FC is suing insurance broker Miller Insurance LLP claiming it owes more than £10m in a High Court bid.
The club says the firm failed to say players would not be covered if they were not "timely informed" of new signings such as their new star striker.

But lawyers representing the brokers say it was not up to them to "chase" club bosses over making sure new signings were insured and that the club were "fully aware" Sala was not insured.
Alistair Schaff KC told the High Court that Cardiff City contacted insurers regarding Sala on 22 January 2019, the morning after his flight went missing off the coast of Alderney.
Mr Schaff said the club made contact via email seeking £20m coverage for Sala.
Cardiff City claim Miller Insurance failed to properly explain the concept of an "insurable interest" for football player transfers and the requirement of a "prompt" notification of the transfer in order to secure coverage.
It said the broker also did not let the club know about the risks of "delaying this notification of an interest or the steps that might be taken to reduce or eliminate the risks".
But Miller insisted it was not their responsibility to chase the club to ensure that it added new players to its policy "immediately".
It claimed the broker had warned Cardiff City Football Club several times that there would be a gap in a player's insurance cover between acquiring an "insurable interest" in a new player and informing the insurer.
Lawyers for Cardiff City said that Miller's defence is being "evaluated, but doesn't seem to contain any surprises".
The club, represented by David Phillips KC, added that it expects to file a reply "soon" to the High Court.
