BaggieTrousers you're right luck has nothing to do with where we are now, Thumb up
However as the second half went on the more luck deserted us today two off the line hit the bar , keeper pulled off two great saves so I also stand by what I said ......... we were UNLUCKY TODAY Thumb up
Team selection was awful the same thing happened against just two weeks ago against Southamptom being overun in midfield why did he go the same way again ? .............
Baffling Huh

Short term: Appleton and Shakespeare. Test the water between now and May. Bring experience, coaching capabilities, man management. See how final 3 months evolve. Assess if progress has been made.
Beyond that keep, or reassess.
But this Pardew nonsense cannot continue.
Anyone know the way to the Scunthorpe and Shrewsbury grounds assuming they both get promoted into the Championship?  Be interesting visiting new grounds

If we go down I'm hoping that Plymouth get promoted. They're on a roll at the moment and are now in 7th in League One. I live 90 minutes from Plymouth and I spent 3 great years there at University so I'd love too see WBA play away against them.

I’d love an Albion v Plymouth game as well
As many others have said on this site, it was an appalling decision by Pardew to play those senior players involved in the Spanish fracas. In my former job, if I had done that I would have lost my job and have been locked up. I help run an U14 team and we continually get documentation from the FA about Respect and Values. What sort of role model messages are those players sending out to my youngsters?
As for the game itself - dreadful defending for their first goal. We huffed and puffed but couldn't score. Stand out players for me were Hegazi, Foster and McClean. Rondon's goal was a Worldie but although he works his socks off he just doesn't score enough goals.
Does anyone else think the Southampton number 9 should have received a straight red card for his deliberate elbow on Hegazi at the end of the first half?

I'd love Albion versus Barcelona, Real Madrid, PSG and the rest of Europe's little gentleman's club but it ain't gonna happen.

Happy to provide directions to Shrewsbury's ground, I might even include a "must try list" of the many great breweries we have up here, if you are good boys and girls. 4eva perhaps we could start a local drinking tour company.

Salop, as I am still new to Shrewsbury, would have to rely more on your vast experience of the local hospitality ....... Whistle Whistle Whistle

I'd rather have you in charge Beefy and there isn't a technical area big enough to fit your wide frame in. Whistle
