Re this crazy refereeing fiasco, if there is any doubt in awarding such a goal, the referee should not give the goal - as simple as that! It wasn't a goal but that's life - we move on. I totally agree re Stubbs comments on the horrible artificial pitch at Recreation Park and he's not the only Scottish manager or player to castigate the poor standard of this pitch. A different topic but my ire would be directed at the SPFL for compromising on allowing these pitches to be used unlike the stricter FA judgement down south!!

It doesn't really matter if Alloa play on a plastic pitch or if their goal was wrongly awarded, we should still be beating them by 2 or 3 goals. We are simply not good enough at the moment and Alan Stubbs says that Hibs should be giving more. Well, we've been saying that for weeks now and it's good to see that he's catching on.
