St Johnstone v Hibs, Sun 23 August, KO 4.30pm

Well this is an away fixture that unbeaten Hibs must have their focus on "bagging" another precious 3 pts but the boys need to "show up" v a Saints team that didn't deserve to lose to Aberdeen on Thursday night and played reasonably well in the 1st half. Hibs need the pts to close in on Rangers top position. Fingers crossed that they can "do the biz"! C'mon Hibs!

The other results have favoured us, so we need to go up there and get the 3 points. Motherwell just wasn't good enough and I want to see a big improvement and a few goals hopefully.

Prob a bit of "smash n grab" by Hibs after "dodging a bullet" re the Hendry goal for Saints in the 1st half - looked onside! But I'll take it! Jack Ross described it perfectly - a fantastic start to the season but the boys will not get carried away. I thought it was a reasonable match today with Hibs decent in the 1st half. Outplayed in the 2nd half but delighted Jack changed it to a back three and a more positive attacking line up in the last 10 mins. I wanted Allan off and Doig replaced earlier than he did it but he got the result anyway. Again a special mention to Gogic - this guy does the "dirty work" in midfield and I luv this type of mid player: another "cult hero" in the years ahead!! Thumb up

1st half was OK, 2nd half was pretty dire with us 2nd best until we went for it near the end. We definitely copped a break with the disallowed goal.

For long periods passing the ball any distance was a major problem for the team. Allan was very poor again. The positives are that we are defending better, we haven't lost a goal from open play yet and that gives us a platform to go on and win tight games.

Still - joint top of the league
