Could we be kicked out of the FA Cup?

@Gids1980: Understand #chesterfieldfc are to be charged by the FA for fielding an ineligible player, Georg Margreitter v #MK Dons on Sat.. #bbcfacup

@Gids1980: It's believed #chesterfieldfc and #wwfc had agreed for Margreitter to play but relevant documentations was not passed onto the FA.

Thats not good if true!! Why is it that clubs always seem to fall foul of the paperwork?? There is no deliberate wrongdoing here, and rarely is that the case with these situations, but if true you can bet your bottom dollar that MK Dons will be pushing to be reinstated!!!

If we get drawn to a big club at home then MK Dons I bet will appeal.

If this is found to be true, still a big if at the moment, then I hope that MK Dons set a precedent and do not ask to be reinstated!! Its a clerical error, not a wholesale fraud, and it needs a club to stand up and say no for the punishment to be fitting of the crime!! If true, just hand out a fine.

I can't remember an example of when the offending team wasn't punished in this way!! It just seems so harsh for a clerical error where both teams involved had agreed what would happen. Seriously though, is the paperwork the FA demands so difficult and time consuming?

Will likely happen FA tough on these matters

The rule states:
15.
(j) Temporary (loan) Transfers (i) A player on a temporary (loan) transfer is ineligible to compete in the Challenge Cup Competition unless permission to do so is given by the lending Club in writing and a copy is received by The Association by 12 noon on the Friday prior to the date fixed for playing the Round. Any permissions must clearly state that the player has approval to play in The FA Challenge Cup Competition. A registered Trainee or a player who is registered on a Scholarship for work experience may play for another Club, subject to written permission being given by the Club that he is registered to and provided that such permission is received by The Association by 12 noon on the Friday prior to the date fixed for playing the Round.

As we didn't give written permission to the FA by 12 pm on the Friday prior to the date fixed for playing the round then it does look like we will be kicked out for breaching the rule.
