Saido wants to return???
#1
Interesting article from Jo Massi at the Star regarding SB wanting to return:

Saido Berahino has said he would jump at the chance to rejoin Albion.

"The striker had a very public spat with the Baggies hierarchy over a failed move to Tottenham in 2015. Currently playing for Zulte Waregem in Belgium, Berahino admits he now regrets how he handled the situation.
And he told the Counter Attack podcast if Albion were ever interested in having him back, he'd love to return.

He said: "If West Brom came back in for me, I would jump back – 100 per cent," he said. "I support West Brom, I follow their games. My friend (Romaine Sawyers) plays for them. "If they came back for me 100 per cent I would go back."

On the failed move to Tottenham, Berahino said: "I think I needed someone around me to say 'Saido, you're not going to move forget about it – you've already done it, you've proven you can attract a big club, let's go and attract two or three big clubs.' "I never had that type of guidance, I just thought my life had ended. "I thought I want to play Champions League, no disrespect to West Brom. "I loved my time at West Brom.

"I had had a great season and I just felt that moving to Tottenham would improve my level even more. "The manager they had there (Mauricio Pochettino) was really into young players and I thought I'd develop fast if I went there." "

There's definitely a place for him at the Hawthorns if he wants one. I'm sure we can find a jacket that fits.

Only after they've finished flipping the half-time burgers.

Even the Astle gates aren't big enough to fit his ego through.
We prefer the humble players who don't treat the club and it's fans with contempt.
He had a chance with us and a 2nd chance with Stoke and blew that as well.
Thanks for your contribution Saido but IMO his time has been and gone, we have moved on and now he needs to move on.
