Alive And Kicking ... A Explanation. !!!

Exclamation
Hi guys just by to say hello and yes I'm Alive and kicking,
Thanks all for you concerns but me Mrs Beef and the little Beefy's are all fine,
I think to be fair when the footy got cancelled I still planned to pop by anyway, however things began to hit home a little more as time went by when clearly I had underestimated Covid 19,
Just another flu epidemic I thought, how wrong I was, Covid 19 was getting closer, into the UK, into London , to Birmingham and Staffordshire.
Then one of my best mates whom I have known since I was 17 phoned to say his dad had got it and was seriously ill in hospital, it was now on my doorstep .
My mate never got to see his 79 year old Dad again no goodbyes no last hug nothing.
I was in bits for him he was a great bloke and always fun to be with and came to watch me and his son play every Sunday Morning,
Then Bomber who you all know has also been through tough times, he lives just the other side of Cannock chase for me and for a short time was really upset as his son and Girlfriend contracted the Virus they both work for the NHS, both thankfully came through it well and are back on the frontline,
So I came to the decision to help in the community, look after a few older and vunerable people as well as my mom and in law's, shopping ,cueing ,shopping cueing but hey I wouldn't be doing anything else,
Throw in that I'm trying to home school 2 young girls my eldest 12 has ADHD and is really finding time at home difficult and has been a real test for me and Mrs Beef, temper tantrums like we have never known, but we will get through this , and hopefully soon we can beat this stinking virus that must have affected each and everyone of us,
Stay safe and will pop in a little more often when I get time
Beefy Wink Thumb up

These are difficult times and they affect so many people in so many different extreme ways. Glad you’re ok beefster, we’ve got a 20 something with Aspergers who’s finishing off her uni dissertation. I can identify with the lockdown pressures and tantrums.

Stay safe.

It's a nightmare sometimes mate and it looks like schools out until September , I sit her down so many times and explain to her what's going on ,she fine for a hour or so then it's like someone's flicked a switch and it starts all over again,
Her consultant can't see her for obvious reasons it's a horrendous situation we all find ourselves in, but greatly affects more in ways other people don't understand and I don't think the Government do either but it must be so difficult even for them at these unpresidented times.

Beef, good to see you post again mate. I don’t think any of us saw this coming and what the impact of it would been us and those around us. There’s too many people who seem to think it won’t affect them and why should they bother, I’d string the idiots up by their feet. If they were to see what this disease does they might think again but probably not. My son and his girlfriend are now back treating post Covid patients and things are getting better - slowly.

The second wave is the worry, that’s why there’s not much room for change yet.

Let’s hope things do carry on improving and somewhere along the way we get some football back and Beefy can get back to doing what he does best- making us laugh .....................

Bomber, 100% agree!! The protests over here are just full of right wing idiots who have no regard for others and are spreading conspiracy theories left right and center!! There is no reasoning with them though!!
