Man City Banned from Europe
#1
So Man City have been banned from playing in Europe for 2 seasons and fined £25 million for breaching Uefa's club licensing and financial fair play regulations.

They must have know it was coming as they issued a statement saying "they were disappointed, but not surprised and they would appeal".

Its just a same that the same regulations, well the enforcement of the regulations were the same for all clubs, such as let me think........................ Barcelona.

Will this result in an extra European place up for grabs in the Premier League, given that the one City occupy will be null and void?

This is a crock of shit!!!! UEFA FFP rules require clubs to break even, Real Madrid haven't in reality done this for years, they are renowned for their debt issues!! Biggest problem though is this is a UEFA accusation that is then investigated by UEFA and then the guilt or not is decided by UEFA!!!!

In the spirit of football's origins, the entire competition will be replayed as an 869-man free-for-all on a mile-long pitch, with VAR only being employed in incidents of suspected manslaughter (which, if awarded, will result in an indirect free-kick from the point where the body was discovered). The first player to successfully kick the ball through the doors of UEFA headquarters whilst reciting the lyrics of Franz Beckenbauer's classic hit "Gute Freunde Kann Niemand Trennen" will be adjudged the winner, and receive their prize in a sealed brown envelope.

For anyone interested, it does seem that 5th place in the Prem will now become a Champions League spot, presuming that City finish in the top four. Good news for Sheffield Utd.
