Hibs v Ross County, Wed 12 Feb, KO 7.45pm

This is a good fixture for Hibs to move on to after that morale-boosting Scot Cup win that projected Hibs into a decent home Scot Cup quarter-final v ICT. However, action must be taken to "shore up" a still fragile Hibs defence - we must tackle this issue!!! Anyway, on a more positive note, it will be good to see Hibs revised front line taking on the Staggies in what I hope will be an expansive game of footie that will engage our opponents to the extent where we pick up the full 3 pts. C'mon Hibs!

FT and a solid 3-0 victory for Hibs with some terrific footie being played in the opening 25 mins. Marc McNulty adding to his goals total but "blotting his copybook" with a 2nd half pk miss. Adam Jackson "bailing him out" a minute later with a good headed goal anyway. A good overall result tonight and what a difference it makes to have goal scorers who are "delivering the goods"! Thumb up However, it is clear, after tonight's results, that there will be a mid table "dogfight" to earn the 5th and 6th spots in the Scot Prem. Hibs travel to Killie on Sunday in a "huge match" and I must say I fear their plastic pitch more than I fear the Killie team!! This will be a real test of Hibs mettle but I perceive that Hibs have "turned the corner" in a run of good form but I still fear the restrictions of an artificial pitch.

Smart performance and a clean sheet!! - county to their credit came and had a go though. Barring a spell each side of the interval we were on top I felt..

I thought Docherty was really good. Jackson and slivka absolutely strolled it and Scott allan provided a stunning ball for the opener and some other fine passes. McNulty and Doidge look like they will carry a real threat up top. Florian who ????

We are definitely in a better place than under hecky, but still feel we can get better still.
