Motherwell vs Hibs

Very poor first 45 minutes for Hibs, currently just waiting on Motherwell scoring, JR started Tom James for his first game in many months and its fair to say Scott has torn him to shreds, i think this will be his final chance. Omeonga doesnt look match fit and could well be taken off before he is sent off after many mistimed tackles, Horgan having one of his invisible games in which we see far too often. Ultimately we have been pish and Motherwells league position doesnt like, they are a well drilled side with plenty of pace, oh how Hibs have fallen.

Hopefully the second half wont be as bad as the second and JR makes some magical halftime changes, after the match i think the whole club needs looked at, this season is not what us Hibs fans expect, we expect far better than what we are currently watching, we need investment in our playing squad and need to get rid of alot of deadwood.

0-0 Full time, second half far better performance, Kamberi missed another sitter though, just cant seem to score again, Motherwell hit thr bar and produced a fantastic save from Rocky, point gained, need to work on first hald performances in games.

A very good point all things considered - first half was poor fare and Motherwell played a good possession game. I don't remember rocky having that much to do bar one big save though. James was woeful 1st half but gradually got a handle on things after the interval. Boyle played like the transfer speculation has gone to his head, and Horgan had another mare.

On a plus side I thought Jackson did ok, and when Allan came on the team started to look a bit brighter.

Kamberi and doidge both worked hard but are too much of a muchness - we need a different option up top I think.

Overall I'm reasonably happy with the job ross is doing, but been a few games in his tenure where we haven't started very well.

Yep! This was definitely a point gained for Hibs and that missed "sitter" by Kamberi is no surprise to most Hibs fans but JR has even acknowledged the issue and professed that he'd endeavour to improve that side of Kamberi's game. At least the Swiss striker is putting in a "shift" in most matches but I wish he'd start converting some of the easy scoring opps that are coming his way!!
