Well in a week when the fate of the UK with regards to Brexit was finally sorted as such, we saw our own little “referendum” with regards to the supposed sacrifice that our bottom dweller Beefy is making in his predictions. As the scorer for the PL I can now confirm that the result was a resounding 100% against Beefy’s proposal and as said scorer I can confirm that I will hereby be carrying out the deduction in points for Beefy straight away!!

Before we get to that, this weeks winner is St Charles with 24 points. A season’s best for him after scoring points on 8 of the 10 games including a CR Gamball and Bonus Ball. In 2nd place is Sanjay on 19 points, he ducked out of the Gamball although this cost him 3 points in the end his ability to score on 7 games more than made up for this!! Bomber comes in 3rd on 17 points, gaining most of his points on a CR on both scoring balls and picking up the scoreball point as well.

Derby is in 4th spot on 15 points and like Bomber scored on all his balls. Our current leader Themaclad is in 5th place on 13 points, will this cost him his lead? BBB is in 6th place on 12 points, getting no correct scores this week cost him despite a correct result on the scoring balls.

In 7th spot is Beefy with 11 points. Of course we all know what he did with his Gamball and as he got it wrong he is duly being deducted 3 points, this was cancelled out by a CR on the Bonus though. 8th spot is held by our early season leader Zinman who might see himself slip further down the table after picking up only 9 points. In last place this week is AAA, and like Zinman the lack of courage to play the Gamball cost them both 3 points, could be crucial come the end of the season!!!

One more week until the Xmas break, will there be much movement in the table and will we see any further legal challenges to the scoring system??

Cheers

Amelia 12pts 0CS 6CR 0GB 0BB 0SB
Stairs 10pts 0CS 3CR 5GB 3BB 0SB
Lady Jane 10pts 0CS 3CR 5GB 3BB 0SB
Joker 5pts 0CS 2CR 5GB -3BB 1SB

A high scoring week thanks largely to a full set of correct result predictions on the gamball, with everyone except Amelia brave enough to play it. The scoreball was rather less productive with only 2 players gaining the extra point.

BaggieOne and MightyBrom share top place with 21 points. Both got maximum points from the bonus, BaggieOne also added a second correct score while Mighty had an impressive 7 correct result predictions. Just one point further back is Twerton - 2 correct scores and an excellent 8 correct results, but he was let down by his bonus.

Snooty's good form continued - his best 3 scores of the season have come in the last 3 weeks - and his 17 points will continue his Beefy like surge (at least in Beefy's dreams) up the table.

A bit of a gap to Amelia who, like Snooty, got 6 correct results but failed to get any extra points from her balls. Stairs and Lady Jane scored a respectable 10 points despite just 3 correct predictions, both helped by the extra gamball and bonus ball points.

This week's Jeremy Corbyn is Joker - just 5 points and he will be looking anxiously over his shoulder at the players closing the gap on the promotion places.
