Well it is back to league business after another depressing international break where the reputation of Scottish footie has been damaged even though Scotland won 6-0 v the worst international team on the planet.
A match on any artificial pitch in this league is a game full of threat and trepidation - the SFA accepted these pitches and that is sadly the "way it is". Therefore Hecky must be training all squad players this week on an artificial playing surface and dismissing those who "cannae handle this surface" in favour of the Hibs players who can perform at a reasonable level. I can't see us winning this game v a very stuffy Accies side and one can only hope that Hecky's "one up front" plan A, coupled with a tight defensive line, will add an unbeaten result to a wee run of unbeaten games since Hibs' league cup tie v Killie. Will any of our strikers score this week??? I'll be very surprised but one can "live in hope" re this striking crisis finally being resolved!! Even one striker's goal would be a "ray of sunshine" for many Hibs fans - is that too much to ask for in a footie league that is not as high a standard as many people seem to think it is??????

I too am wary of getting hopes up that we can take any points off Accies, but we've already beaten Kilmarnock on their artificial pitch - the same result is distinctly possible. Surely one of Heckingbottom's strikers will come good at some stage.

The Yorkshire bore has tightened us up a bit but we need to actually win games soon.
Going by lots of Hibs fans who drink in the 4 in hand and surrounds ...no one is confident he can turn it round.
We also don't like the football. Scoring a goal does not mean xxxx backs to the wall
He's scarily like that diddy at the PBS potter.

Unfortunately the Hibs board and Leeann are "king makers" and "cannae see the light for the trees" or don't want to see because of the "money hit" if they do what is actually required - GET RID!

0762,
The "money hit" involved in getting rid of our underperform manager will become insignificant when compared to the real worry of us losing fans.
I can well remember, as some of our older fans will, going to Easter Road and looking around at empty terraces when only 9,000 turned up for home games. Returning to those days, which I believe is a possibility, will cost the club in excess of £180,000 a game.
The board can't let that happen to our club again.

Yep Wattie! I concur with that view! We are witnessing a great reluctance by senior officials like Leeann to make the "tough decision" that she used to preach re the way she operates and "gets results".

1-1.
Dominated the first half and shite in the 2nd, couldn't find the goals when we were on top to win. The Yorkshire bore just refuses to change the shape to go and win a game of football. He brings on our best forward and plays him out wide late in the game ffs....again. Get this quarterwit back to Barnsley or wherever the xxxx he's from..... I cant actually believe he has managed clubs down south at the level he has.
Only one league win this season, and I cant remember many occasions where we have scored more than one goal. Says it all really. I do not want to hear any more post matches from him, its actually becoming insulting.

This guy has to go,and quickly, before he takes us beyond the point of no return. We're still looking like 11 individual guys who turn up on a Sunday morning looking for a kick about. It's not doing us any good persevering with a manager who does not have the skill to get the best out of a decent squad.

FT 1-1 and I think my OP accurately summed up what we were gonna witness today and also our strikers still not scoring goals in a boring set up that is not conducive to scoring goals anyway. I must add that the "sitter"/open goal (4 yds from the Accies' goal line) missed by Daryl Horgan from an exquisite Newell pass is a symptom of many matches that we've been observing where this manager is clearly not capable of changing from dull/boring to expansive footie and "grabbing a footie match by the scruff of the neck and deservedly winning it". I think Heckingbottom will last another two matches unless Ross Co "do him a favour" and "don't show up" next week - he seems to have the knack of pulling off the odd "saving result" but the team performance itself is normally unimpressive and lacking real "balance" and true positivity and belief throughout the Hibs 1st team!! Leeann and her associate board members are watching the same matches as us and are therefore being a tad disingenuous in ignoring a definite "crisis in the ranks of concerned Hibs fans" as game after game just confirms this manager's limitations in organising and setting up an accountable and attractive Hibs 1st team. HE HAS TO GO AND SOON OR OUR SEASON WILL BE OVER BEFORE IT EVER BEGAN WITH ANY KINDA POSITIVITY AND INSPIRATION THAT HIBS FANS EXPECT IN THE GREAT TRADITION OF HFC!!!

It goes to show how overrated the championship is, this guy is completely clueless. He's like some spawn of Colin Calderwood and Terry butcher.
A totally boring, one dimensional manager. To have had the 1-0 leads we have held and come away with no wins is shocking. We really needed to win that game yesterday, if by some miracle potters mob get something today we will be 2nd bottom.....Which is unacceptable.
It won't be long until the fans start voting with their feet and the clubs bottom line gets hit.
