[b]LAST MATCH

A much changed line-up gave a reasonable performance v our PL opponents but 2 early goals were too much of a mountain to climb. 8 changes from the weekend draw with Fulham and within 10 minutes we were 2-0 down, with former Blade Calvert-Lewin Angry  Angry  bagging a double. A drubbing seemed on the cards but we managed to hold our own and we did have several chances but our finishing let us down, something which you can't do against PL teams. We can now concentrate on the league for the next 3 months before the FA Cup in January.

THE MATCH

Back to the important business and a trip to Boro. Boro have made a disappointing start to the season, languishing in 15th place under new manager and ex player, Jonathan Woodgate. They have a pretty good squad but whoever is in charge cant seem to get them firing on all cylinders. How much time will owner Gibson give Woodgate as he awaits a return to the premier league. We won here last season 1-0, with Reach getting the winner - same again please Thumb up

Nice one, Kev  Thumb up

We should be taking a point from this in all honesty, probably more.   Rhodes or Reach to score against this lot.

I'm watching that game and they are not bad but Stoke at times have been bloody awful, stupid mistakes all over the place!!! Think its more telling that Fulham won tonight and sit in 7th, I do expect them to challenge!!
