Jonas Olsson has been ruled out until the New Year.  The achilles tendon injury he has been suffering with is going to require surgery which he will travel to Portugal for.  Recovery is around 4 - 6 weeks.

There was a time when this news would've rocked the club; now JO is a squad player and nothing more.
IMO he's not played consistently well for a long time - since he was linked to Spurs was it, or QPR, maybe 2 years ago? Football moves on and I can see that he may have played his last game for us; if so then I really wish him well as he's normally been a central player for us, apart from the last period.
