As always, away fans welcomed to The Hawthorne, to often this season, so are away teams, so much so we give them gifts of goals and three points .... safe journey, hope you return empty handed.

I can remember the PNE invasion of about 12 (?) years ago, when Hughesy got us the 3 pts in the Top-Championship match. PNE fans vociferous that day.
Also remember a top 4 match in the old 1st Division in '58 (my 3rd game). My Dad took me because Tom Finney was playing. Big Grin
Start every day off with a smile and get it over with

Can recall Scott Dobie scoring a late late winner in a midweek game v PNE when pushing for promotion. Remember jumping round the office when the score came through on the radio

Must have started just before me saft. Think my first match I was 7 so would be 59. Can't remember who against but vivid memory of Dad sitting me on the perimeter wall at the Brummie Road yes younger members you could do that then with the help of a friendly copper patrolling and Dad pointing out Ronnie Allen when the players came out.

You old git, Suffolk! Wink
My 1st game we beat Leicester 6-2 (Apr 58) and a certain Bobby Robson got a hat-trick.
Howe, Barlow, Robson, Allen, Kevan (5 England Internationals). Ronnie Allen was everybody's favourite.
We used to stand by the wall on the "Handsworth End", as it used to be called.
