[b]LAST MATCH

Probably our best performance so far under Bruce, particularly the first half as a Reach double and a Fletcher bicycle kick put us 3 up at the break and despite tailing off a bit in the 2nd half ran out deserved 3-1 winners. Aarons and Lazaar both started and looked good, especially Lazaar at left back. Aarons had a couple of assists to go with his performance and it was good to see Reach back on the score-sheet. Iorfa came on in the 2nd half as Bruce juggled things around a bit and Swansea pulled one back, Matias at fault. It was SB first home win at Hillsborough hopefully the start of many Thumb up

THE MATCH

Brentford make the trip North in pretty good form winning 5 of there last 6 including a 5-1 hammering of Hull on Saturday. Dean Smith is no longer in charge, Thomas Frank is now the head coach. Brentford do play an attractive style despite having no real star players and are comfortably 13 pts clear of any relegation worries and probably a bit too far off to make a play off push, a bit like ourselves I suppose. Benrahma will be a player to look out for as he  got a hat-trick v Hull

Cheers, Kev.    Thumb up

It's difficult to not feel upbeat after that result. However, it's also better to not get carried away, we're Wednesday. Brentford have scored for fun over the last few seasons, hot and cold this season. let's hope they're cold on a Tuesday night.

I'm quite confident if we play the same as we have been doing under Bruce .we will win this practice match ! The bonus will come if players like Boyd fox plamer or minge get injured !

A nice warm up and confidence boost before the Full Monty next Monday a simple 2 - 0 win will be fine.
Bruce is still feeling his way at the moment. I'm sure he will be doing his homework and establishing how to get the best out of what we have.
