LAST MATCH

Oh so close to our 3rd straight win under Bullen and then Mr Jones came to the Baggies rescue. It was a decent performance against one of the sides challenging for promotion. We all would have took a point before the game started but the manner of it makes it feel like a defeat. Nuhiu put us ahead early on and there keeper was forced into several saves to keep the score at 0-1. On the hour mark Rodriguez was sent off, still not sure why. We tried to see the game out for the last half hour but didn't quite make it until Jones blunder. Still, 7pts out of 9 over the xmas period, Jos now gone and several players making re-appearances, including Winnall who got quarter of an hour yesterday and Bruce due to be appointed the new boss sometime in January, things are looking a bit more positive.

THE MATCH

From one midlands opponent to another as Birmingham make the journey north for our first fixture of 2019. Brum made a bad start to the season, there first league win not coming until mid September and that was at Leeds of all places. Since then they have been climbing the table and now are 7th in the table. Gary Monk is in charge of them these days and will be looking to get them into the playoffs by season end. The same fixture last year we had 2 players sent off and not surprisingly lost 3-1 plus we also lost earlier in the season by the same score at there place so we will be looking to address those 2 score-lines.
